【我的假期英语作文】Last summer, I had a wonderful vacation. It was the first time I went to the countryside with my family. We stayed in a small village near the mountain. The air was fresh and the scenery was beautiful. There were many trees and flowers around the house. Every morning, I woke up early and enjoyed the quiet environment.

During the vacation, I helped my grandparents take care of their garden. I learned how to plant vegetables and water the flowers. It was a new experience for me because I had never done such things before. I also spent some time playing with my cousin. We went swimming in the river and climbed the mountain together. It was very exciting and fun.

In the evenings, we sat outside and told stories. My grandfather shared many interesting experiences from his youth. I listened carefully and felt very close to him. It was a meaningful time for me.

I also read some books during the vacation. I chose a novel about adventure. It made me feel like I was part of the story. I found that reading could help me relax and escape from daily life.

Although the vacation was short, it was full of happiness and memories. I learned a lot and felt more connected to my family. I hope to have another vacation like this soon.
